Our story

It all started with a cup of coffee!

It was during a coffee break that our founder decided that enough was enough. He was disappointed that coffee as valuable and delicious as it is, was not being served as it should, mostly commercialized and undeniably the real way and meaning of tasting and enjoying coffee was diminishing.

He nostalgically remembered how his grandparents, in the mountains and valleys of Hamra’ Yemen, harvested and cared for coffee quality during production. Then, the same coffee was brought home and roasted in the old traditional way using a mehmet, an Arabic roasting pan. The magnificent fragrance and aroma eminating from the roast was mesmerizing to say the least. The changes the coffee went through all physically and ultimately its flavors, was an experience to never forget.

Our founder became a certified Master Roaster and barista. His extensive knowledge has helped us create a product that can not be matched in the market.
